LARIS Systems Engineering Research laboratory (University of Angers Research Lab EA7315)  units  three related teams :

  • Dynamic Systems and  Optimization (SDO)
  • Information, Signal and Image Processing and Life Sciences (ISISV)
  • Dependability and Decision Aids (SFD)

The current team includes  :

  • 49 research professors, or whom 23 hold research habilitation status
  • 1 research engineer
  • 2 design engineers
  • 2 project engineers
  • 1 secretary
  • 34 doctoral students
  • 2 post-doctoral students
  • 4 temporary research and teaching attachés

LARIS was created following the January 2014 fusion between research labs LASQUO EA3858 and LISA EA4094. It includes researchers from 5 University of Angers divisions : the ISTIA School of Engineering, the Institute of Technology, the Faculty of Sciences, the IMIS-ESTHUA School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, and the University of Angers Medical School, ), as well as the ESAIP Engineering School and the Institute of Applied Mathematics at the Catholic University of Angers . The lab works closely with the University applied mathematics / TIC service.
