Hard Fact and Soft Skills: sharing experience in 2020

May 4 - 8, 2020 at the University of Angers, France

Today’s engineering students are asked to master both job-specific technical knowledge and interpersonal skills, which are much harder to define and evaluate: communication, listening and leadership, among others. International and intercultural collaboration contribute to the development of both types of skills. With the rapid rate at which changes are taking place in the world, engineering educators need to remain alert to the training needs of future engineers to help them become problem solvers and innovators who can take on the challenges the world faces.

Polytech Angers invites colleagues from partner universities worldwide to its “2020 International Week” to be held on May 4-8, 2020 in Angers, France.
